Cody loves to fish. It’s probably his favorite past time. I’ve created a gift guide of all of his favorite things for those of you that have someone who loves to fish in your life.
- Neck Gater– prevents sunburns so you don’t become a literal redneck. Also now for Covid, it doubles up as a face mask!
- Hats– These Pelagic hats are (in my opinion) cute fishing hats. Cody likes that they’re adjustable and the camo one is netted in the back.
- Bottle Opener– My mom actually gave this to Cody last Christmas as a stocking stuffer and he loves it. It’s a great tackle box “accessory” or more like “necessity”
- Long Sleeve Fishing Shirts– These shirts are super breathable and lightweight but keep the sun off for long days on the water.
- Polarized Glasses– Everyone RAVES about these glasses and my brother owns like 3 pairs. They’re $12 and have almost 20,000 amazing reviews.
- Work Socks– what better way to let your coworkers know that you’d rather be fishing? LOL
- Hybrid Board Shorts– these are Cody’s favorite clothing items. They look like you’re wearing a nice pair of shorts but are secretly swimshorts. He has 4 pairs!
- Cooler Backpack– Cody, unfortunately, lost his cooler backpack and had to buy another one. It’s great for one the go for drinks and lunch.
- Sunscreen stick– when your hands are covered in fish scales, you don’t want to run sunscreen on your face. this stick lets you apply sunscreen without the scales. This also would make a great stocking stuffer.
- Water Shoes– Kind of along the same concept as the hybrid shorts, these are hybrid shoes. They don’t look like dorky water shoes but are completely made for the water.
- Tackle Box– this tackle box was my gift to Cody last year after getting it recommended to me by my fishing friends. It has drawer inserts (sold separately), is a perfect size, and thetranslucent top allows you to see and grab things quickly. The bottom also seals watertight.
