My baby is about to be one month old tomorrow and

My baby is about to be one month old tomorrow and it feels like yesterday we were in the hospital meeting the newest member of our family. It’s true that time flies once you have a baby but I think it is flying even faster with our second baby! Maybe because we’re busy keeping up with Kennedy or because I’m now aware of just how fast they grow up. I’m trying to soak up and savor every bit of this stage of life. And you know what, it’s my favorite stage yet 🥰

The common statement of “loving another as much

The common statement of “loving another as much as your first” isn’t my concern. It’s having to share my time and attention with my first! Being a family of 3 has been my favorite stage of life so far. And I just KNOW that I will feel the same way about becoming a family of 4. It’s going to be a beautiful transition and I can’t wait to watch her fill her big sister shoes, for them to become tiny best friends, and to watch our dynamics shift in the best way possible. But I’m acknowledging that this stage of life coming to an end is tough too.

We’re ready when you are baby boy! How funny is it that we spend forever prepping a nursery to only have them sleep in our room the first few months?! His room is much different than Kennedy’s; I stuck to calm and neutral instead of bright and bold this time around. I love both rooms equally but really think we’re going to love baby boy’s room because of the daybed! Another one of those my boss is cooler than yours posts 😜 but in all seriousness how lucky am I to get to work with such an inspirational person on the daily!? Meredith launched “You’re Invited”, a children’s book with an important message on inclusivity and celebrating our differences through party planning. This project has been in the works for years and I’m so excited I got to see it through with her. There were so many road bumps along the way but she persevered and celebrating this momentous occasion with her was so special to me!
